About the Firm
LaCour Trial Lawyers is the class-action practice of Employees First Labor Law, P.C., a plaintiff's firm that has spent fifteen years suing the largest employers in California on behalf of the people who work for them.
For fifteen years Employees First Labor Law has done one thing: represent individuals against companies with far more money, far more lawyers and far more patience. Wage theft, retaliation, discrimination, workplace injury: cases where the defendant's first instinct is to wait the plaintiff out. The firm's answer has always been the same. Prepare for trial from the first day, and make waiting the more expensive choice.
A community disaster is that same fight at scale. A utility, an aerospace manufacturer, a logistics company, each with insurers, a claims program and a plan to settle cheaply and late. The people on the other side are the same people we have always represented: renters, hourly workers, small-business owners, families who did not have a lawyer on retainer when the evacuation order came.
LaCour Trial Lawyers exists so that they have one now.
The partners who file the case are the partners who try it. Behind them is a litigation support team, a workers' compensation department that understands catastrophic injury, and the resources of a seven-office firm that has recovered more than $200 million for its clients. We take cases on contingency, we return calls, and we tell clients the truth about what their case is worth and how long it will take.
The firm's headquarters is in Pasadena, three miles from the Eaton Fire's western edge. Our Irvine office serves the Garden Grove evacuation zone; Pasadena, Pomona and Long Beach serve Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles, Commerce and Montebello. Every office takes intake calls in English and Spanish.

Free Case Review
A lawyer, not an intake service, reads every message. We call back within one business day, in English or Spanish, and there is never a fee unless there is a recovery.
